It’s that time again. 2014 cards are now in. You can renew by mail, at the Post or on line at legion.org. Remember 2013 cards expire on 12/31, 2013
Garden City is hiring a fire fighter, and wanted to get a heads up to the vets before putting their ad in the paper. Click here for details.
A history of Post 396 written by Ben Simonton, the first Commander of Post 396, in 1967 can be found here: poststraightfarmhistory.pdf (Warning: another very BIG file! will take a while to download.)
The membership cards for the upcoming year are in for all organizations, so, if you haven’t already, it is time to get your renewals in. Remember: a valid membership card for 2013 will be required beginning 01 January 2013 to be served in the Post lounge, so you’d best get those renewals in before then. But please consider: getting your renewal in as early as possible helps your organization by allowing them to focus on other tasks.
Let’s get those renewals in!
